Hi, I’m Gavin the founder of WODsmasher.com.
I have two passions in life – Crossfit® and Mathematical Statistics. While I may not be the best cross-fitter (I’m getting there), I’m pretty good at the statistics part. In fact, I earned a PhD in the subject, mostly by applying statistical models to sporting events. So it was only natural to start applying scientific big data methodologies to the analysis of Crossfit® data.
​We’ve analyzed thousands of hours of video data of athletes at various performance levels, in order to statistically model every component of the WOD being examined. The result is something unique and powerful.

For the first time, you are able to gain rare insights into your performance for every separate movement and transition throughout the whole WOD. You can see how you compare to other athletes in the Crossfit® community, and how you compare to other athletes of a similar fitness level.
